OK so osama bin laden is dead,
when i heard it i was in the cafeteria waiting for school to start. at first i didn't really believe it and brushed it off. but then when i got home and saw that the only thing on the front page of yahoo was the headline OSAMA BIN LADEN IS DEAD is still didn't react. later i was on YouTube like i always was and people were rejoicing. i thought this was wrong, and started to think about why i didn't react. he was a horrible person, horrible. i saw what he did first hand (thought i was 5, and even then i didn't really react), i thought i would know why i thought nothing of it because i was me and i feel like people should know why they feel a certain way but its not that simple. maybe i didn't react because this didn't really effect me in any major way except going through airport security was alittle more frivolous. maybe I'm a cold hearted person. either way i didn't react.
going back to my later statement of people rejoicing at this. i was think about this a lot actually, and i get why there happy (deja vu) but they should. do you get me. i mean a human being is dead. just think about that, a human being. i don't think people should be necessarily sad that hes dead, but i don't think they should be having party's either. what does this say about us? and this may just make things worse now that hes dead too. will this cause another direct attack as an act of revenge? some people think so. and its like an analogy that Hank Green of the vlog brothers said (video of him talking about it http://www.youtube.com/user/vlogbrothers) if you killed Ronald McDonald would McDonald's stop? nooo of course not. that's my opinion of that.
on another note i just want to make clear, not all Arabs are terrorists, not all Muslims are terrorist. its actually quite a peaceful religion. the the terrorist are just extremest, they interpret the Karan in a different way, they pretty much in my opinion use the religion as an excuse. NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE TERRORIST. just wanted to make that clear because to some people its not.
well this was quite serious, Hannah
